All Music, All the Time is Stan’s motto for valid reasons. He has written over 35 original musicals, some of which are for sale elsewhere on this website. And he recently collaborated in editing and polishing the symphonic work, “Rock Concerto”, with world-renown composer/violinist Alexander Markov . This work will be performed in 2012 at Carnegie Hall.
Stan was a long-time collaborator with songwriter Jack Lawrence, (“Tenderly, Beyond the Sea) and performed with a host of other showbiz luminaries from Otto Preminger to Geraldine Fitzgerald. As a Broadway, film and television composer he wrote more than a decade worth of scores for the Downtown Cabaret Theatre of Bridgeport, CT, original compositions for Pilgrims with Lydia Chamberlin, Broadway’s, Poor Murderer, starring Laurence Luckinbill, Hollywood’s animated film, Gallavants, , American Times, a 26 part TV series, Lysistrata at D’Art Theatre of Danbury, CT., NBC ‘s new Fall television season, the World Cup Equestrian Festival, and major corporations such as IBM and Canon. Stan has performed at the White House for President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter, and his music graced festivities at the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. He is currently Adjunct Professor of theatrical performance at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music.
Since 1988, Stan and his wife, noted singer/actress/director, Anastasia, have offered private instruction in voice, piano, keyboards and even audition techniques at Quik-Score Music, a full-service music/recording studio which they operated in Trumbull, CT. until the recent relocation to the Spartanburg, SC area.
